Aircon Fault Finding

With the help of our Autologic Diagnostic System we can determine any electrical fault & rectify it. If your air conditioning has a leak, our technicians can pressurise the system without refrigerant using a safe oxygen free nitrogen test. This is the most effective method to find a leak.

The recommended service interval for your air conditioning is 2 years. This is due to the fact the system can lose up to 10% of its gas annually. Constant use of your air conditioning can help circulate the liquid and gas to keep your system running smoothly. Having your air conditioning turned off for extended periods of time can sometimes cause bacteria and bad smells from your vents when the system becomes active. Don’t worry if this happens, we have a solution using our antibacterial & clean solution.

Did you know?

Air conditioning doesn’t just provide in-car comfort during the hot summer months; it can also be used in winter to demist your windscreen. Air con systems create dry warm air rather than the normal humid air from outside which can clear your windscreen much more efficiently than your standard heater.

The vast majority of vehicles now use 2 types of refrigerants R134A & R1234YF. Vehicles manufactured before 2014 most commonly have R134A. Just like petrol & diesel, electric powered vehicles also require maintenance. In fact it more important that the air conditioning work efficiently, as it can be used to cool components such as the batteries and electrical motors.
